Surprise Wedding

November 2015

My bride and groom were a mature couple.  They wanted to get married but they didn't want the fuss of a large wedding.  They asked just their immediate family (about 40 people) to come to "Thanksgiving Dinner".  When they arrived, they would never have imagined that they were walking right into a wedding!!  It was an amazing afternoon.  The surprise was pulled off without a hitch.
Non-Traditional Halloween Wedding

This will go  down in history as the wedding of all weddings!! The bride and groom had a daytime traditional ceremony, but once the sun set it was a non-traditional Halloween Party of all parties! Everyone was dressed up in amazing costumes.
I had my groom dressed up as a cheerleader taking shots with his guests from behind the bar, my bride as well as many others dancing on the tables.  Probably the best DJ and music at any wedding I've seen. Food and wait staff were amazing!! Everyone had a lot of fun!! The goal of an amazing time and party -- the goal was met!! But needless to say I had my hands full

The bride and groom were looking for turn-key full event planning & coordination services for their special day.  With a guest list of 500+ people and a fine taste for elegant decor, entertainment and all the bells and whistles; this was a dream event to plan in terms of covering all facets to create a true dream day.  From elaborate, tall feather centerpieces, kings table, tons of rental decor pieces,  hip hop dance team entertainment, candy bar, over 200 candles, hundreds of red roses, full length mirrors, bling...bling.. and more bling, this wedding encompassed "the full sha-bang!" that one can image for their special day.

Extreme 13th Birthday Party

The "guest of honours'" mother contacted me over a year in advance of the event date.  Her daughter was turning 13 on September 13, 2013 so she considered that a really special "champagne birthday" worth celebrating.  She wanted it to be a night that her daughter would always remember and an event that all her friends would talk about for time to come.   She needed turn-key event planning services as well as day-of coordination to pull it off on budget and keep it a surprise.  Besides the clients favourite colour being aqua blue, I wasn't given too much info on what she wanted, but I came up with the concept of a "Much Music-style" dance party which featured: the guest of honors' arrival in a Red Corvette! while her 100 guests chanted her name outside to greet her, VIP pass party invitations, posters,  a DJ dance party, a "fun foods" extravaganza; complete with popcorn machines, cotton candy machines, vintage candy sweet table, glow sticks, photo booth with props area, a video presentation and of course her very own cell phone as her gift ;)

Surprise 25th Wedding Anniversary Party

August 2013

My client contacted me a month before the event date.  She had started the planning process on her own, however as the date fast approached she realized she was a little in over her head with things to do, lots to still coordinate, vendors required and no time as a student ~ especially when you live with your parents who you are trying to plan the surprise for!  I was able to quickly pick up from where she left off to finalize all her rentals, vendors, day of schedule, decor, entertainment and more!
